Limited Edition Prints

2020 has been a year of changes, discoveries, experiments and for me has resulted in the production of my recent work, the Huroof Series.

The Huroof Series is a collection of 14 paintings, gilded using genuine 24k gold, painted using traditional techniques on handmade Khaadi paper.  It is a celebration of the Arabic letters, where I have immersed myself in discovering hidden spiritual meanings behind each letter.  

I have chosen 12 letters for this first series, and added two bonus paintings of “Allah” and “Muhammad”. Each painting is adorned with Turkish floral motifs, painted using handmade pigments sourced from India. You can read more about each letter here  

In order to make this body of work accessible to all budgets, I have decided to open up Limited Edition prints. There will be 50 of each size in A4 and A3. A2 prints will have a limited edition of 10 only. Each print will have the option of per
sonalisation, by hand-embellishing the letters in your colour of choice. 

Additionally, each print will be hand signed and numbered by me, and accompanied by a Huroof card, detailing the inspiration and meanings behind the letter.  

These are Giclee prints on 300 gsm Hahnemuhle Photo rag and are of utmost high quality. They are as close to the original as can be. I am so excited to see what creative combinations you come up with! 

After much demand, I’ve also added the option of a custom Huroof Series print, allowing you to add up to 5 individual letters. These are great as gifts, for family, housewarmings, nursery decor, or just because!
