Rashida Osman was featured in a BBC East Midlands segment on In Praise, a landmark Islamic art exhibition in Leicester led by Muslim women artists. Her piece, A Mother's Heart, combined classical calligraphy and geometry, celebrating faith, heritage, and the power of women's voices in art.

Rashida regularly engages communities in themes that capture spirituality, depth and emotion. Her specialism is in Maghrebi Andalusi calligraphy and illumination. In her session, she held a special guided workshop where you get to discover your own self-expression in Islamic art that supports your own well-being.
