A Light from the Past,Illuminating the Present
Parables of Light is a living platform for art and culture projects curated by Rashida Osman. Rooted in the rich beauty of Islamic Heritage Fine Arts, it weaves timeless tradition with present-day creativity inviting hearts and hands to rediscover, reflect, and reimagine. Each project is a bridge: between past and present, spirit and self, art and community.
In Praise Exhibition
In Praise was an inaugural exhibition celebrating the work of emerging Muslim women artists and poets from the Midlands and beyond. Curated by Rashida Osman, the show offered a multi-sensory experience that blended visual art, poetry, and faith. It was a landmark moment in Leicester’s Islamic arts scene, funded by Arts Council England.
The Illuminate Collection
Illuminate seeks to explore depression and anxiety through an Islamic Perspective, by providing workshops within Oadby and Wigston.
