Description:
Rooted in the timeless verses of Surah Ad-Duha (93:6–8), Port of Refuge is a visual sanctuary - a reflection on Divine care, quiet provision, and the mercy that finds us in our most vulnerable moments.
At its centre stands the Tree of Life, its branching form symbolising God’s infinite bounty, while the archway - drawn from sacred Islamic architecture - invites the viewer into a place of spiritual shelter. Each element echoes a promise: that even when we feel lost or in need, there is always a refuge prepared for us.
Created during a deeply personal season of overwhelm and solitude, this piece became a prayer in motion - a reminder that grace often arrives quietly, in the in-between.
